Candlelight Dinner

    I had a candlelight dinner last night. Yeah, it's true. But, what I meant by candlelight dinner is having dinner in a house that's experiencing blackout with no electricity whatsoever not a romantic dinner. Hah. At around 7 PM last night, our house all of a sudden became dark.

It was a blackout. To add insult to injury, I was bathing when it happened. We had to go through 2 hours of no electricity with only candles lighting up the house. Oh, and also an emergency light system. Darkness swallowed most of the house.

     So, while waiting for the repairman, we ate dinner (Penne pasta with meat sauce) by a lone candle in the dining room. It sucked. Ok, well not that much. Without electricity, you get a taste of what many poor people go through without electricity. Just a thought.

Hah! Candlelight dinner!
