Creators of Super Meat Boy Answers PETA

As a result of creating a whole lot of fake user names on the PETA forums and continuously pushing PETA to do something about Super Meat Boy, Super Meat Boy co-creator Edmund Mcmillen has successfuly garnered some free publicity from PETA. The free publicity is in the form of Super Tofu Boy, a (quite horrible made) flash game that tries to mimic Super Meat Boy's gameplay.

Super Tofu Boy, is PETA's attempt to once again oppose meat and try to turn people into vegetarians. A game if you want to waste 10 minutes at lunch break.

Super Meat Boy, as some of you probably don't know is an indie game by Edmund Mcmillen and Tommy Refenes. The game is based upon the original flash game on Newgrounds, Meat Boy. The game is currently on Xbox 360 Live Arcade, PC (and Steam too), Mac and onto the Mac coming soon (No PS3 though, Sony didn't see the potential to Super Meat Boy).

As an answer to PETA, Tofu Boy is now a playable character on the PC version of Super Meat Boy.

Tofu Boy's stats are:

-Tofu Boy-
Pro: Inflated Ego.
Con: Not actually as effective as he thinks he is.

The character is unlocked by typing in petaphile at the character select screen.

"Peta is 1,000 times more well known than Super Meat Boy and the fact that they went out of their way to make a parody like this is beyond flattering and amazingly helpful," McMillan writes.
